Corbin graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2012 with a BA and LLB.  In 2012 he was admitted to the New Zealand Bar.

In 2014 Corbin joined a speciality insurance litigation law firm and represented a number of Christchurch homeowners with earthquake damaged houses to resolve their insurance claims.  He has since developed expertise in a range of insurance law disputes.

Corbin has appeared in the high court and district court on a variety of civil disputes.
